park amenities

If you've followed our journey over the past several years, you know that bringing Sand Box to life has been anything but easy.

Since the beginning, we have faced significant opposition to our vision and to many of the amenities that were previously approved for the park. While we respect that people are entitled to their opinions and have the right to participate in the public process, the ongoing challenges, delays, appeals, and misinformation surrounding our project have had a very real impact on what we've been able to build and offer.

As a result, some of the amenities we originally envisioned—and that we fully intend to provide—have been delayed while we continue working through the regulatory process.

We know that can be disappointing, and believe us, no one is more disappointed than we are.

Sand Box was never intended to be "just another RV park." It was designed to be a destination—a place where families could gather, kids could safely learn to ride, friends could reconnect, and visitors could experience everything that makes the St. Anthony Sand Dunes so special.

Although our timeline has changed, our vision has not.

Every improvement you see today has been built with determination, countless hours of hard work, and an unwavering belief that this dream is worth fighting for. We remain committed to continuing that work as approvals allow, adding new amenities and experiences each step of the way.

When you choose to stay with us, you're doing more than booking an RV site. You're supporting a local family-owned business that has poured its heart, soul, and life savings into creating something truly special for this community and for everyone who loves the dunes.

Thank you for believing in us, for your patience, and for being part of our story. We cannot wait to show you everything Sand Box is becoming.

We have yet another hearing scheduled for July 20th, 2026. If you are in the area and would like to attend to speak in our behalf, we need as many voices as possible as opposition has always been louder than the truth. If you are not local and are able to write in support of Sand Box, our character, the need for the park, your experience here, what we’re about and what you know to be true, we would appreciate any and all help we can possibly get. Each and every voice helps and is appreciated more than you know.

Why this type of opposition exists, we don’t know. We are simple, honest people who work incredibly hard to do what is right. Are we perfect? Absolutely not. But we are humble and able to pivot, adjust and make right any wrongdoings we may have inadvertently caused, fix our mistakes and learn from them in the future. We have always had a goal to learn and grow, share and love. Because truly - is there any other way?

If you would like to write in to the Planning and Zoning Commission in support of Sand Box RV, you can do so before July (date) using this (llink coming soon).

From the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful to you.
